MicroEval is Closing

It's always a sad moment when an idea closes, but sometimes it is a necessary evil for progress. For nearly two years, MicroEval has been at the forefront of our minds. We have never strayed from our original goal of encouraging more feedback and transparency in the workplace. Unfortunately, MicroEval did not see the traction necessary to raise funding and keep the product alive.

We are extremely appreciative to have had the opportunity to work with and for such intelligent and motivated people. We have shared the MicroEval vision with thousands and worked pretty closely with hundreds of companies. And even though MicroEval is closing, we hope to have left a positive influence through our proliferation of positive and useful performance management. We eager to share the details of our journey in the hopes that one day someone will solve this much-needed problem.

What does this mean for you?

MicroEval will stay online at least through September 1st, 2013. While we have no intention of deleting MicroEval, we also cannot guarantee support beyond August. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at hello@microeval.com.

What's next for us?

The team has already begun to wind down and move on to other projects. I can say with certainty that this is not our last startup. MicroEval taught us a lot, having had to go from idea to sales, and each of us cannot wait to apply that to our future endeavors.


Finally, we want to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all those who worked with us, guided us, and supported us. A special thanks to our investors and friends at Y Combinator. We would not have made it as far without your dedication and support. We also want to thank our friends and family who may have just as well been on the roller-coaster with us. And not least of which, a big thank you to our customers! You have stood by us while we stay up late developing new features and fixing bugs.
